With the debut of GTA+ in March 2022, subscribers of the service were rewarded a 15% bonus to all Cash Card values when purchased. On December 6th, 2022, the Cash Card values were increased by 20% across all platforms for all customers, along with the delisting of the Red Shark card entirely. Due to a batch of previously added DLC content, the Whale Shark Card was added in December 2013, with the Megalodon Shark Card added in March 2014 to boost the in-game economy for players in tandem with the newly purchasable items. Originally, Grand Theft Auto Online launched with only the Red Shark, Tiger Shark, Bull Shark and Great White Shark Cards available. New in-game cards are periodically added to GTA Online, usually after a batch of DLC releases. Cash Cards are advertised on the in-game radio, along with some types not available for purchase.
